Happy Birthday to me!!
yay today is my birthday!! It's claire's birthday too!!! i had a great birthday.
in the morning in the school bus i manage to fall asleep. then i half-awaken to hear the sound of the rain. then yay i went straight back into sleep and i had a power sleep:D i reached school feeling energetic. theni went to class.
after awhile huey fang came and gave me oreo biscuit as present!!:) then jiayuan came over from next door and gave me a present!:) then grace came to school and gave me toblerone:D now i got lots of toblerone, from bernice and grace:D and then i went to find simone cos i got to return her a bag. saw karen and heng yeng and etinne in simone's class they were with lots of balloons. they are going to give claire:D then we went for morning assembly. in the hall.
after morning assembly i went back to class and take stuff. then i went to find simone. and she gave me biscuits and a letter:D then we went down to the canteen.
then hui qun was looking for me. then this is the not-so-fun bit of the day so i shall skip this.
then we had art. after art i saw karen. she was in the art room. her class was doing the designing for d and t. i went to say hi to her when the lesson ended. then she gave me a birthday letter:) yay then i went to the canteen and bought two chicken pao. then i came back to class and packed my things and off i go to lunch with grace. oh i forgot to add that i drew my hand in the style of some georgio artist. his style is close up pics of things. mostly flowers but i don't have a flower so i drew my hand. i hate his style. take so long to blend the colours and make it dramatic and stuff. i jeopardised my painting by mixing the wrong colours half the time. surprisingly mrs neo the art teacher said it was nice. funnny. lingzhi says paintist are weird. and she meant
artist so grace and i were laughing at her and she was denying it. hahaha. then when im with the irritating hand i showed mrs neo and she showed it to half the class, saying its very nice when its so horrendously looking. sorry i cant attach the picture here... cant be bothered. so readers, just imagine. then heh heh i went off to lunch and then we went to assembly.
oh i forgot to add that we got in to the nature week sandwich board finals, so we performed during the upper sec assembly as well as lower sec assembly. we were so unprepared. aarthi was good:D everyone was laughing like anything at her performance. i saw mel laughing like anything during the upper sec assembly:D during the upper sec assembly we didnt see the whole show. only saw the whole thing during lower sec assembly. the sec 1s were so cheem that i dun understand. the sec 4s were really funny. yishan's class did a spongebobby thing. it was damn funny. this is another reason why today is such a good day:)
then physics and history during ces later on wasnt so fun.. then jiayi gave me a teddy bear that she and lingzhi bought for me:) then after ces i went off and saw simone in the canteen. then i saw etinne. we went to take the bus together with her friend. then i shared grace's toblerone with them and gen, who was at the bus stop too. then i got home.
mom bought my favourite chocolate cake from four leaves:) then i bathed and practice piano before my piano lesson:) i never practise enough. made a resolution to practise scales. my scales are really horrible. i always have no time to practise scales.
then ann called me:) she said she was walking home. so late. she haven finish telling why she was so late. i had to hang up cos my mum ask me to go cut my cake. SORRY ANN!! :( but i still love you :) oh then i ate the cake until now i feel so full so i cant go to sleep straight away.
to sum up, here are the things that made today's birthday so wonderful:
1) nice sleep on the bus
2) presents:)
3) getting into the sandwich board finals
4) the spongebob thing 409 presented
5) ann's call:D
6) birthday cake:)

Comp.
Comp was yesterday. dint really go very well, but we still had fun:)
In the morning i left class during recess. i went to find etinne and we both went to grab simone from the class. Then three of us went to the foyer. then we waited for the rest. Karen came and said her teacher almost didnt let her go. lucky for me it was recess:D then shirlyn came with a bag of chocolates from heng yeng. yay!:) When the bus was here, we went on and went to henry park.
At henry park, me simone and etinne and shirlyn and karen changed into our training leotards and then teo said changed into comp leotard. -.- then we went into the storeroom and scared bao yi who was inside changing. apparently we all didnt hear that she was inside... then we all got changed and warmed up and started jumping. my jumping was quite fine. then etinne needed to sew on her number tag again because it fell out. actually the thread broke so it bursted. shirlyn's one too. then simone was helping her sew. shirlyn was scared that simone poke her back with the needle, so she stuck ann's copy of tribune behind her back in her leotard so the needle poked the tribune. and shirlyn's sweat made the tribune cover all wrinkly and it had a nice pattern.. haha... mel helped etinne sew on the number tag and etinne trusts mel:) teo helped to adjust kelly's fiona's and ann's number tags.
then with the hair tying. kelly gelled my hair like anything and sprayed until it was so hard. she tried to slip my fringe back without and hairs sticking out so there was a lot of gel. and tied so high. then i tried to jump with my new hair and haha, my hair kept whacking my face when i jumped so it hurts. had to adjust and re-tie, which wasnt so fun. and i looked weird with my fringe. simone looked super neat:D etinne's hair too. and karens and shirlyns. and ann for once in this year tied her hair HIGH. then after all the fussing about hair, teo say we have to go already so we have to go get lunch and get to ccab by 12pm. we ate and reached there at 11.30.. me and etinne and gillian and fiona took mel's dad's car. in the car me and etinne were discussing about claire's present. we were wondering where we can get a big big bottle of green tea. and heh mel was drinking green tea then. etinne said we should get a green coloured 't' to get GREEN T. hahaha..
then at ccab, we got ourselves ready and stretched and do the last minute preperation of comp souvenirs. ann and simone and karen and shirlyn then arrived. they took cab. i suspected that they were doing something for my birthday on the cab. turns out that im right. you'll find out what later. then we stretched and talk and feel sian/excited/freaked. then THE SUPPORTERS ARE HERE. AHH. i especially didnt want to be seen by supporters. then at around 12.30 the comp finally started.
we went up to the tramp and we had our three minuted warm up. it was kind of scary cos we are starting the real thing a few minutes away. i saw ann and some other people videoing... then the ding ding ding the bell and warm up time is OVER... then yay im starting first. im the first of the first school of the first division!! first of the first of the first! i did quite a satisfying routine. i know that cos i saw the video. then karen did really well. gillian travelled abit after front pike. simone fell after backdrop but i wasnt a bad fall. quite a glam fall, i must say. straight legs and she fell forward and supported with her hands and she came up and continued doing her front pike:) and then shirlyn was freaking out. but she did a good routine too.
then the scores come out.. bleh. i got 6.1. over 8. thats so not nice. and gillian and karen tied 7.05. cant remember the rest.
i did a self-satisfying routine and got a not satisfying score. well, i guess thats the way it is, being the first. i got the bench mark. argh. not funn. hrump.
and then after our school got many schools, wasnt watching cos i was still doing last minute souvenirs. and i got lots of comp souvenirs and letters too. then jess came!!! she didnt notice me until i pulled her leg:D oh i forgot to say paul came too. she competed later:)
then very long later its b-div!!! our team did really well. fiona got 8.0 over 9.0. we thought she'll get individual 1st until 3 nanyang girls beat her. mel i think got 7.9. then the rest of the score is 7.9 7.8 7.35. i think. cant rememeber. but anyway its good:)
oh i forgot to add that when the b-div were having their 3 minutes warm up, the people forgot to stop time so they had extra time. i saw the timer getting beaten by her friends after that:D
after very long later its a-div! Paul was the reserve but someone got injured so she competed:) i dunno whether the person real injured or was it part of their plan.. they were talking about how to get paul to compete before that. paul was really good. and very funny too:D after her routine she posed in every direction and gave a fancy bow to the audience:D
after that its prize giving! c-div got 5th:( we lost to whitley by 0.3 points, so we could have gotten 4th:( but b-div got 2nd!!!:)) ann was feelign guilty because she didnt compete but got a medal:Dthen we had raffles cheers but RJC and RI cheered so fast and we got lost halfway through unite.. and then we cheered outside in the corridor later to ourselves. rare cheer. and then we walked to mc donalds.
turns out that mc at serene plaza( or is it centre?) was full. so we took a bus to so other mc donalds. then we celebrated and then some group of ppl at mc had a dare and they had to cheer for us to get $10. it was damn funny. then simone and karen and i went down stairs to the cold storage to ge the green tea. and we some hwo smuggled it back into mc. then we cut a greeen 't' out of the cold storage plastic bag. the green parts. and then we cut out green and white strips out of the plastic bag to tie around the bottle. then we stuck the 't' in the middle of the top half of the bottle. then yay i was leaning on it at a weird angle to hide it. then when everyone was ready we went to crowd around claire to sing happy birthday. after singing, we took out the giant botle of green tea and gave it to claire. when she saw it she almost fainted. hahaha!!! then she said 'hey yinxin its your birthday too!!' and then everyone sang happy birthday to me and then ann took out a bundle of present and gave it to me.. its my present wraped in newspaper and RAFFIA STRING... and i had to untangle everything and it took a long time.. then whe i opened i found alot of random presents:)) a ball from etinne and shirlyn, a bag of sweets from karen, a bag of 7 tolberones from bernice (trying to say im 7???) simone gave me cat thing meant for supporting my wrist when holding the mouse. the best present was from ann:))) a TRANSPARENT HANDPHONE POUCH!!!!yayayay!!! ann had SEWN it for me:)) she took measurements from teo's phone, bernice's phone, and mel's phone because their phone is same size as mine.. yayaya i love ann:) (ann,dun feel disgusted or what.)
turns out that they wrapped my present in the taxi.. no wonder they didnt want me to go with them and saying excuses like SHIRLYN NEEDS HELP WITH HER MATH HOMEWORK SO SIMONE IS GOING TO HELP HER. (yeah right...) then i had to keep the raffia string.. THANKS YISHAN FOR HELPING ME KEEP THE RAFFIA STRING:))) then i loooked at my birthday cards. karen made a really good attempt at drawing spongebob. it was great:) ann's card was damn cool. i dunno how she made the words pop up on the aluminum foil card, she probably wrote backwards.
then we took pictures. we had matching number tags this year, b-div and c-div. i got 19, same as mel:) so we took our pictures together:)
after all this we finally went home at 8+. i went home with yishan and ann. reached home at 9+. bathe finish at 10. dunnid do homework liao.
ohh, yishan, ann, my light stick is still shinning:DDD

2 more days!!!
Ahhh two more days to comp.
Today was trial two. I'm in, so im going for comp. Don't know whether i should freak out tomorrow. ok i shouldn't. but i don't know whether i
would. Ahh.Today after training me and ann went looking for lunch. erm actually me looking she accompanying. :) and to our horror, THE STALLS AT THE FOOD COURT WERE ALL CLOSED. don't think they are closing for lunch, and i hope they are not closing down forever.
Ahhh. i think i WILLfreak out tomorrow. see how things go.

10 more days to comp!!!
AHHHH!!!10 more days!!! 10 more days to comp!! for those ppl who don't know what im talking about, its 10 more days to trampoline competition. ahh!! thinking about it makes me feel so scared. ok, im not scared i'll die of nervousness or what, but im scared i'll screw up due to stupid reasons (like the intensity of the lights, the itchiness of leotard, the need to pee, hunger, etc.). and what if my ribs dont get better by the 16th?? its still hurting and i've finished my painkillers. ok its not hurting as much now, but its still hurting a little, and it will hurt damn lots once i did face drop. worst thing is, face drop is in the middle of the routine so i'll screw up half turn, back drop, and front pike if it hurts. but as ann says, i should be thankful its not the first move in the routine. oh well...
oh yes comp souvenirs. ahh. we're not done yet!! not exactly half done either. WE HAVE 10 MORE DAYS. ONLY. AHH.
the most wonderful thing is, pft is round the corner (wonderful in the sarcastic way...). since my ribs are hurting, i can't do sit ups. and my running is affected so 2.4 and shuttle run is doomed. incline and broad jump im not too sure. only left with sit and reach to score in. so wonderful. the five items for sec 2s is on the 15th, we have comp tryouts or something, so it will be moved to earlier, with means i have to get well earlier. it might even be tomorrow, and i'll be so doomed. and 2.4 is on this wednesday, and im not sure i can run yet... but i dun want to do pft 2, which is all the way in july, and i'll be counted as 14, and i'll DIE. now im still thirteen.
why does stuff go wrong at the time when everything needs to be at its best? but at least stuff go right at times when everything is bad, so thats good.
